Coming up to any race event can be daunting. It may be your first ever running event, it may be the one your looking for a PB... Whatever it may be.. Preparation is key to a successful race day.

Imagine turning up to your event having left your trainers at home! #fail

Team Viper will be putting together some awesome info and advice on how to get race ready nearer to March but in the mean time we thought it would be cool to give you all some ideas of what to bring to your event to make your life comfortable and enjoyable.

Here goes:

Your race day trainers that are worn in (you will be in them for a long time!)

A couple of run clothing variations (Viper 369 is a multi loop event, you may want or need to change at some point!)

As British weather has a tendancy to give us 4 seasons in 1 day, this is another reason we are advising a few different run clothing variations.

eg. (short/3/4 or full compression) tights or shorts

Short & long sleeve tops

Jacket or gilly

Couple pairs of running socks

Warm clothing to put on in between laps.

Waterproof jacket (it's England!)

Between each loop it's also handy to have long compression socks (we like them!)

Running/GPS watch

IPOD

Mobile phone

Camera

Safety pins (for your race number)

Sun glasses

Gels /energy bars

Chaf guard/plasters

Water bottle (we do not provide plastic cups)

Hat

Toilet paper

Money

Towel

Plastic bags (for dirty clothing etc)

ID (always handy)

Medication

Copy, paste and print, stick to fridge!
