VIPER 5KM AND 10KM TRAIL RACE

Do you relish muddy trails, varying terrain, awesome race bling and a great goody bag... backed up by a super awesome atmosphere and a FREE donut and hot drink at the finish line... All for a fantastic entry fee?
Then this is the event for you!
Choose either 5 or 10km trail race, tell you friend and fam and get them there on the day to support you and enjoy the beautiful scenery Delamere Forest has to offer!
Collect your number and race chip on race day plus we have some very cool prizes for fastest male and female through our Cobras Ascent Time Trial (CATT)
ROUTE
The route is about 5km in length, in a loop and will take you over lots of tough, varied terrain and over varying degrees of ascent and descent! (trail shoes are a must have!)
MARSHALS
The route will be heavily marshaled. Please adhhere to all marshal directions and information.
ARRIVAL
The gun goes at 0830. Please make sure you are at the start line ready to go 15 minutes before the Gun to listen in to the race brief from Team Viper. Runners may arrive from 0630hrs. (There is a £3 parking fee)
FOOT WEAR
Team Viper recommend all runners to wear tough trail trainers (not brand new!), to handle the terrain and look after your feet/ankles over the terrain. No spikes.
MUSIC
IPODs and other music players may be worn but we ask you have only 1 ear bud in so you can listen to any directions from Team Viper staff.
CHIP TIMING & RACE NUMBERS
Your race number must be visible and secure on your running vest/top at all times. Your racepack (chip and number) will be available to collect on race day at the admin tent (bring pins).
MEDICAL FACILITIES
There will be a first aid point near the admin area / start line. The course is also heavily marshaled and all marshals will have communications to the medical facilities.
CHANGING FACILITIES
There will not be an event changing area at this event however, you are permitted to pitch a tent throughout the event. There are no wash or shower facilities at this event.
MOBILE TOILET FACILITIES
There will be mobile toilet facilities available near the start line for your pre run trots!
HYDRATION
Team Viper will provide enough water for you throughout the event (please bring your water bottles, we don't like waste & will not be providing plastic cups). We will not be providing any type of energy drink or gels so if you do take these, please bring enough with you.
FOOD & DRINK
Food and drink will be available on race day. Don't forget your pennies!
RACE PHOTOS
There will be race photography on the route and available for you to purchase.
TRANSFERS & REFUNDS
Unfortunately we do not offer any refund or credit transfer to any other Viper Series Run however, you may transfer your place to someone else up to 31st March 2016.
